Ain't No Mountain High Enough

Our minds are still brimming with the sounds and sights from Lexi + Ben’s Modern Black Tie Wedding at the Four Seasons in Dallas this past weekend. Hurricanes and a kickball league brought this couple together (more on that to come) and their wedding was a beautiful reflection of the unique and adrenaline-fueled moments they’ve shared. The glacier they climbed together on their first trip to Crested Butte with Lexi’s family happened to be the very same mountaintop where Ben proposed. It was only fitting that Ben’s gift to Lexi on their wedding day would be a mini-glacier of sorts: a diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co. (get it, the diamond is ice…) wrapped in the lift ticket from the day he proposed. On top of all that sweetness, their wedding had so many fun moments: a gorgeous train of tiny flower girls, a diorama style mountain cake featuring the proposal moment, and even a surprise Second Line, reflecting the couple’s Louisiana roots.

As the first grandchild on her side of the family, Miller was consistently surrounded by sweet "oohs" and "ahhs" from all of the grown ups. The flower girls wore white dresses with pink satin sashes that tied in beautiful bows in the back. Their ballerina buns were encased by a flower crown and the girls filled the air with smiles and giggles.

Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher and Higher

Ben gave us a closer look at the lift ticket from Crested Butte — the same lift ticket he purchased for the ride to the mountain top where he proposed. He wrapped the ticket around the Tiffany & Co box that contained the Lexi’s wedding day present.
