VALERIE & ETHAN
/ORGANIC DOWNTOWN WEDDING AT THE ASTORIAN
Valerie and Ethan are the genuine article. They are loved deeply by so many and it's easy to see why. Both are fun, thoughtful, and clearly devoted to one another. Ethan says it best when he recited Ecclesiastes 4:12 during their vows...
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
On a gorgeous March afternoon in front of their closest family and friends, Valerie & Ethan were married in a traditional ceremony at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston.
With impeccable details and the Houston skyline as a backdrop their reception was in a word, WOW. Their florist, Bows and Arrows completely transformed The Astorian's ballroom into an elegant and organic urban oasis. Lush, white and creamy florals with whimsy greens brought a garden atmosphere indoors. Dimmed lights and candles adorning the tabletops further romanticized the space. Guests were treated to specialty cocktails, a custom cigar bar, and an incredible live band.
A sparkler send off and a Rolls Royce get-a-away golf cart made this night even more unforgettable.
We were blessed to work with such a lovely pair and we wish them nothing short of a lifetime filled with happiness. - XO. MJF
