Growing up, our family movie night meant pulling out the projector. Eight millimeter reels. The same films over and over — my dad before I was born, my brother coming home from the hospital, summers I barely remembered. We watched them so many times we knew every frame.

It wasn't about the movies. It was about what happened in the room when the projector was running.

That feeling never left me. Mason Jar Films is my attempt to give it to other families.

I shoot on Super 8mm film because it looks the way those memories feel — warm, grainy, imperfect, and completely alive. Not content. Not highlights. Something real enough to hand down.
